One of her most treasured memories is reading Bible stories to her children, and later to her grandson, just before wishing them “sweet dreams,” “sleep tight,” “night, night,” “good night,” or “dream of little angels.” Watching their faces light up with delight as she shared these narratives has been a source of joy and inspiration. The values instilled in her children during those cherished nighttime rituals have profoundly influenced their lives, motivating Velázquez to compile this heartfelt collection of bedtime Bible stories.
In addition to drawing inspiration from her family, Velázquez has devoted over 49 years to serving as an administrator for a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential services to preschool children and their families. This wealth of experience has naturally inspired her to write a book tailored for babies, toddlers, and young children, fostering a love for storytelling and spiritual growth from an early age.
Now, as she reads to her granddaughter, Velázquez eagerly anticipates the joy that this collection of Bedtime Bible Stories will bring to even more little ones.
